Drawing from his personal research, experience as a church leader and Bible student, Dave Clark describes a lacking in personal Bible reading within today's Christian church and how Christians can regain a dedication to reading the Bible. He does this through having us explore ou...r attitudes and approach. To enhance our attitudes, we learn what the Bible says itself why we should read it, and we are given guidance on how we can make Bible reading a habit. To enhance our approach, practical assistance is provided helping us pick the Bible translation right for us and questions provided to check our understanding as we read the Bible through. Dave gave a TEDx talk in March, 2017 on the subject of Teen/Adult Dialogue on the Subject of Faith, and is scheduled to give a second TEDx talk in March, 2019. He has previously written a book called A Path Through The Bible, now on its second edition and in both hard cover and digital form. Dave has over 15 years college and University teaching experience, including working for the University of Redlands and the University of LaVerne. He also has 15 years market research experience, including with Honda and Mattel. He is currently a church elder with Calvary Chapel Life, Huntington Beach, California. His continued failure to make an honest connection with the women in his life makes him question his current bachelor status. With the right wife, his world could be more. From his time spent in the orient... as a young man, he knew formal and informal arranged marriages were the primary method for couples seeking matrimony. Knowing exactly what he was looking for in a wife Bill felt this direct approach might be the answer for him. Fate intervened and Bill was off to Fuzhou, China, to meet Uncle Wu, an unlicensed marriage broker. Growing up on the other side of the world in central China, Wei refuses to let her dream of marrying an American fade. Strong and courageous, Wei moves from the farms of rural China to the city, determined to immigrate to America, even though her family thinks such dreams foolish. However, the question remains, is it possible to find the right spouse without courtship? Bill and Wei seek to find the answers along with their own happy ending.

Phoenix's brewing history dates back to the mid-1800s, when small breweries had to contend with brackish water, searing desert heat and no refrigeration. By the time Prohibition arrived, the state's breweries were tapped out. It wasn't until the 1930s that Arizona Brewing Company... left the first indelible mark on the Copper State's thirst. When its last call came, a new force called Four Peaks rose from the ashes as majestically as the mountains for which it is named. Author Dave Clark guides you from the area's beer icons of yesterday to the rapidly evolving brewing scene of today. Discover and appreciate Phoenix beer, from the classic, clean pilsner from Helton Brewing that rivals Germany's best to Fate's local taste of the Southwest, Hatch Chile Gatos.
