The Grand Deception is a fascinating analysis of global politics with particular reference to the United States. Mujahid Kamran presents compelling and discerning argument that most wars in the world today are fought for economic reasons. More often than not, these economic inter...ests are the interests of the wealthy elites of the countries, and counter to the interests of the people of the countries. In a series of elegantly written essays, Kamran points out that this wealthy elite the High Cabal is ceaselessly active in capturing global resources and is, by and large, highly successful in attaining its objectives. This reality is constantly concealed from the American people. The domestic and foreign policies of the United States are an astonishing and chilling illustration of this grand deception. Deeply informed, these essays, first written and published in Urdu under the title Pas e Parda, discuss many radioactive topics, including the CIA's connections to drug trade and Wall Street, the genocide of Iraqi citizens, and the so-called war on terror.
