While completing a Bachelor of Wine Science and Viticulture concurrent with the Eastern Institute of Technology, Hawke's Bay, author Douglas Renall worked across all facets of the wine business at Kumeu River Wines, Te Mata Estate, Sacred Hill Winery and Glengarry Wines. He created and edits a wine website www. douglasrenall.com, and most recently spent six months working in France at the prestigious Chateau Langoa and Leoville Barton, Bordeaux, France.
