Incorporating significant editorial changes from earlier editions, the fourth edition of Ludwig Wittgenstein's Philosophical Investigations is the definitive en face German-English version of one of the most important works of 20th-century philosophy. It corrects mistakes to text... and illustrations and misleading renderings of the German in Anscombe's earlier translation. It returns to original pagination and organization of earlier editions for ease of scholarship reference. It features new detailed editorial endnotes explaining decisions of translators and identifying references and allusions in Wittgenstein's original text.Read more
