Author's Bio

Forrest Chambers works as a Prison Chaplain. He has interests in current affairs, history (particularly the unofficial, and the untold histories), music, and gardening. Lena Chambers was 12 years old when she started the illustrations on this book. She does her schoolwork at home and also helps out at a local dairy farm. Lena and Forrest are inspired by the St Francis Prayer: Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. As another peace-focused contribution to the WWI centenary commemorations, they have also created (with others) a Heroes of Peace 2018 calendar, with lino-cut illustrations, telling the stories of 12 other heroes of peace from different times and places.
