Description of this Book
The sixteen stories in this collection are about teenagers in real time in realistic places faced with not so realistic situations. The unreal takes the form of ghosts, heightened perception, elements of science fiction, and the humorous and not so humorous effects of technology. Some stories may put the reader 'on edge' but all will provoke thought and will entertain. After each story is a narrative back story which provides insight into how the author got her ideas. For each story there are ten questions suitable for the English classroom including two for class discussion and creative writing and eight for written critical response.
