Description of this Textbook
This is the third and final part of Andrew Dalton's trilogy, about the adventures of Jamie and his tiny friends who secretly live in the pictorresque garden of Malplaquet. After a freak accident in his study, Jedekiah Biddle has discovered the actual head of his ancestor who kidnapped the Lilliputians from their island home. Newly inspired, Jedekiah organises events in the garden of Malplaquet to finally trap the tiny people who have evaded capture for so long. However, their special teams spoil his plans, helped by many of the statues and some unusual weather. Charlie thinks he has finally discovered Jamie's big secret, until he has a bad encounter with some 'fairies'...And Nigriff discovers some vital information about a famous ancestor of his own and realises that the New Empire can finally begin.Unfortunately he becomes Jedekiah's prisoner during the astonishing celebrations to mark the restoration of Malplaquet's encircling wall. All seems lost. But this remarkable evening is one that Jamie and his friends would never forget, the night that the New Empire of Lilliput might actually, at long last, arrive...
