Author's Bio
Josephine Power has worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for the last twenty five years. She is also the mother of two, and has worked part time as a teacher for over 10 years. Looking at the different learning techniques of children, Josephine as written a dissertation looking at how these can be incorporated into a well designed book. She has also conducted surveys with both specialist teachers, and children aged between 8 and 11 years, so as to discover what has appeal, and what is really needed. The Spell Quest series is the result of this research - books that are visually designed to not only complement the story, but to help children actively exercise the transition between left and right brain hemispheres, and increase IQ.
