Author's Bio
Peter Hastie is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Human Performance at Auburn University. His area of specialty is sport education, having written numerous research papers examining the model. His latest text - Teaching for Lifetime Physical Activity Through Quality High School Physical Education - has been written for those who are preparing to teach in secondary schools. He has also contributed chapters to Silverman and Ennis' latest release of the book Student Learning in Physical Education: Applying Research to Enhance Instruction. In his spare time, Peter enjoys adventure activities and traveling.
